Dit document beschrijft hoe je logging naar syslog uitschakelt voor de beats utilities.\\  
Bij standaardinstallatie op systemd-gebaseerde Linux wordt alle output naar **syslog** gestuurd. Dit vervuilt syslog mateloos. Zet dit als volgt uit: 
    - open /lib/systemd/system/<file|metric|heart>beat.service
    - zet ''Environment="BEAT_LOG_OPTS=-e"'' in commentaar
    - reload systemctl config: <code>sudo systemctl daemon-reload </code>
    - herstart filebeat:<code>sudo systemctl restart <file|metric|heart>beat
</code>nu wordt de logging weggeschreven naar /var/log/<file|metric|heart>beat.log
